Permanent Windows Solutions Inc. (PWS) European Windows & Doors are engineered and built by REHAU, a manufacturer invested not only in a product that will have lasting value but also chooses to be an environmentally conscious product that makes the world safer and more comfortable for everyone.
About Our Warranty:
The Warranty lasts throughout the stated period from the date of purchase. It can also be transferred to future homebuyers, increasing the property’s value.
What It Means to You:
PWS provides solutions for any Warranty-covered issues and offers support for repairs, replacement parts, or service for a fee if not covered.
Your Responsibility:
Properly handle, install, operate, and maintain your PWS Product to use your Warranty. Review the terms and limitations to understand your rights.
Our Warranty to You:
PWS provides a warranty for material and workmanship issues, including replacement products or parts and labour for two (2) years from installation. Adherence to the Care and Maintenance Manual is required for eligibility. If a defective product or component is located more than 100 kilometers away from the original point of purchase, PWS may limit transportation and labour costs. If a product is sold outside of the warranted area, then the coverage is limited to the supply of the defective product or component to the original point of purchase only.
- Consumers are covered for 25 years with the manufacturer’s Consumer Warranty.
- All PWS uPVC window frames and sashes enjoy a warranty against material defects for 25 years from the date of purchase.
- The warranty for uPVC doors, slabs, gaskets deterioration and frames is ten (10) years.
- Insulated thermal edge glass units are warranted by the manufacturer for one (1) year from the date of purchase.
- A 5-year installation warranty is applicable for units professionally installed by PWS installers.
- 10-year warranty for window & door hardware from the date of purchase. PWS will repair or replace the hardware components with manufacturer defects in materials and workmanship, which are operated under normal use.
- Any minor defects in shipping will be addressed on-site. If the issue cannot be resolved on-site, we will order a replacement and ship it on the next available shipment.
- Any defective manufacturing product would be repaired or replaced without charge from the manufacturer to the customer.
- The transferable warranty is valid for 25 years from the date of purchase and is applicable only to the original purchaser who owns and resides in the home. If the original purchaser sells the home, the warranty is transferable to the new owner for ten (10) years from the date of installation, provided that the new owner has proof of purchase. However, the warranty will not apply if the building is left unoccupied for more than 30 days.
- PWS will install smart lock sets; however, we do not program them, and the lock set manufacturer holds the warranty.
Warranties for product and workmanship will not be honoured until PermanentWindows Solutions Inc. receives full payment of the contract.
At its sole discretion, Permanent Windows Solutions Inc. will repair or provide replacement parts or Products for confirmed covered conditions. If PWS determines that repair or replacement is not commercially practical or cannot reasonably be made on a timely basis, it may elect to refund the price paid for the affected—product in full and final satisfaction of any warranty obligation. PWS will also provide labour for two (2) years from the date of installation for single-family homes. The owner shall provide clear and safe access to the Product. After two (2) years, PWS will supply parts only, and any labour costs shall be the responsibility of the owner. This Warranty covers only replacement parts or Products and PWS-provided labour as described in the preceding paragraph. It does not include any other costs, including, but not limited to, the cost to repair or replace siding or finish materials, removal or disposal of Product, temporary enclosures, scaffolding, or other measures or costs that may be needed to service the Product. PWS reserves the right to improve, change or discontinue any products at any time. Parts or products of comparable quality or aesthetic appearance may be used if the original part or product is no longer available. Replacement parts and repairs are warranted only for the remainder of the original coverage period for the Product, and any action taken by PWS does not create a new warranty.
Warranties for product and workmanship will not be honoured until PWS receives full payment of the contract.
Disclaimers, Limitations of Liability and General Conditions:The remedies provided in this warranty are the only ones available to the owner regarding the product, regardless of legal theory or any negligence on the part of PWS. This written warranty is the sole warranty for the product, and PWS denies all other warranties, including the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a specific purpose. PWS shall not be held liable for any special, direct, indirect, incidental, resultant, or consequential damages of any kind, including but not limited to loss of use, injury to person or property, loss of profits or good will, or any other loss or injury, even if PWS was informed of the possibility of such damages.
PWS is not legally obligated until it receives written notice and is given a reasonable opportunity to perform under this warranty. PWS’s liability is limited to the original purchase price of the affected product.

– Metal or abrasive tool
– High-pressure water pressure washer - Condensation on glass surfaces is natural and not covered under warranty.
- Warranty excludes damages caused by acts of God, misuse, abuse, fire or negligence.
- Products not purchased directly from Permanent Windows Solutions Inc. or one of their dealers.
- Any order which is not paid in full.
- When proper maintenance has not been maintained on the product.
